The JCLP serves as an interdisciplinary, international forum for the exchange of information and research results on the visions, technologies, processes, products, policies and concepts designed to help ensure progress towards sustainable societies. Achieving cleaner production demands a great deal of risk analysis and risk reduction of Cleaner Production, Cleaner Products and more Sustainable Services, which are less risky for the workers, the customers and for the environment. The JCLP has agreed to publish a special issue dedicated to the theme of “Risk Analysis & Risk Reduction and Cleaner Production” in the autumn of 2011.

The Special Issue team will select and publish 12–15 top quality papers on recent advances in using risk analysis tools to help in the reduction of risks in all aspects of Cleaner Production and Services. Authors are encouraged to submit both theoretical and applied articles addressing the theme of this special issue.

China June 12th–13th, 2010 co-organized by RiskChina Research Center (http://www.risklabchina.ca) at the University of Toronto. Additionally the 7th International Conference on Innovation and Management (ICIM) will be held in Wuhan, P. R. China December 4th–5th, 2010.
