Aims:
The workshop aims to provide a forum for eminent researchers and practitioners working in various areas related to Risk Management and sustainability to gather together to report and exchange their latest works.

(The KEMA hosts the GIN2010 Workshop in Seoul, Korea. It has long been known as a pioneer in environmental management and sustainability in academics as well as industry in Korea. It has over 500 active members from all disciplines and publishes “Environmental Management Research”, a biannual journal encompassing diverse subjects related to environment and sustainability. KEMA tries to form a worldwide network with academic & industry associations around the world.
Seoul is the capital of Korea and one of the dynamic and lively cities in the world. Seoul is a beautiful city and emerging as a business, finance and sustainability center in Asia. You will discover a magnificent cultural and social experience during the GIN2010 Workshop. We promise you will have wonderful memories with art centers, palaces, healthy and delicious Korean foods and so on.)

Workshop Publications

All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, under an ISBN reference, on paper (printed version) support.
A short list of presented papers will be selected so that revised and extended versions of these papers will be published by a Springer-Verlag book.
The proceedings will be indexed by several major international indexers, including ISTP, ISSHP, and we are awaiting the confirmation of indexation by EI.
Best paper awards will be distributed during the conference closing session. Best papers are selected to publish at the following journals

Human and Ecological Risk Assessment: An International Journal (SCI)(2008 Impact Factor 1.29); Journal of Environmental Policy and Planning (SSCI, upon approvement); International Journal of Environment and Sustainable Development; International Journal of Environmental Technology and Management; International Journal of Environment and Pollution.

Please write your article according to the required format, and apply the detailed formats in the WORD tool bar, such as title, author, address, email, abstract, heading, p1a, equation, fig legend, table legend, program code, item, reference, footnote, etc.
For including your paper in the proceedings, please use the paper template at: http://www.rotman.utoronto.ca/Dash.Wu/templet-RMEM.doc

Authors who do not come to the conference but like publication in the proceedings can only pay publication fee of 1000 RMB to a Chinese account. 

Authors who like to attend the conference should register and pay to the Korea account.


2. Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. All papers are refereed through a peer review process.


3. All papers must be written and presented in English. The length of each paper should be no longer than 7 pages. Any violation of this will incur a cost a 120 US dollar per page. Authors must submit final manuscript as an electronic copy in doc (preferred) or pdf format. Information should also be provided such as the author's and co-author's (if any) name, address, email address, telephone and fax numbers, the title of the paper, categorization of the papers (full paper, short paper, or poster) and a short one paragraph biographical note.
