Environmental risks of pollution can take many forms. Seeking the best way for sustainable construction can help manage environment risks from pollution of air, water, soil, and the food we eat everyday because this contributes to sustainable development of an eco-economic system and the quality of people’s lives in a society. This special issue of HERA on the theme of “Environmental Risks and Sustainable Construction” is intended to find out what’s being done on a global level about the effects of the environment on sustainable development and the benefit of sustainable construction. Both theoretical and applied works are welcome.
