(Incheon is known as the "Gateway to the Future of Korea". Just next to the largest and most prosperous city of Seoul in the nation, Incheon is the Penta-hub city with Sea & Air port, Techno port, Leports port and Business port. Seoul is very attractive with the many different styles of architecture and historical sites, and Incheon shows another attraction with its future dream coming from the Free Economic Zones in Songdo and Incheon international airport. Incheon is within 1 hours driving distance of the historical city of Seoul.) Aims:The first conference on risk management and engineering management was held in Toronto in 2007; after the conference, the committee also held a journal publication meeting in Toronto. The second conference on risk management and engineering management was held in Beijing in 2008; the committee also held the post-conference workshop on enterprise risk management in Wuhan. Each invited session will have at least 5/6 paper presentations. Sessions with a large number of papers may be approved as Focus Symposia or Workshops. The invited session organizers will be responsible for all aspects of their sessions, including soliciting, reviewing, and selecting the papers. They can also select the reviewers who might help them in the reviewing process, as well as their session’s technical program sub-committees. They will also chair their sessions and appoint their co-chairs. If someone organizes several sessions in the same topic (Focus Symposium or a Workshop), he or she can appoint the chair for each of the invited sessions organized by him or by her. All approved session chairs can be considered as associate editors of the RMEB 2009 proceedings volume, where their session papers would be published. Two of the invited session organizers, with the best performance of each proceeding volume, will be considered as co-editors of the respective volume.The deadlines and the timing for the paper submission, will be determined by the invited session organizer, as long as the camera ready paper deadline established by the conference Organizing Committee, is met. The submission of the invited session papers, must be done directly to the organizer of the session.Conference Publications(To be extended)All papers accepted for presentation will be edited and published in proceedings headed by conference Chairpersons and other committees. Research and conceptual based papers, case studies, realistic implementations and critical reviews can be considered for the conference based on the above topics. The Instructions are as following (Detailed Guidelines provided in a separate Template):1. Papers must be in submitted in Microsoft Word. Authors’ instructions can be achieved at http://www.rmeb2009.org, Please write your article according to the required format, and apply the detailed formats in the WORD tool bar, such as title, author, address, email, abstract, heading, p1a, equation, fig legend, table legend, program code, item, reference, footnote, etc. For including your paper in the proceedings, please use the paper template at: http://www.rotman.utoronto.ca/Dash.Wu/templet-RMEM.doc 2. Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. All papers are refereed through a peer review process.3. All papers must be written and presented in English. The length of each paper should be no longer than 8 pages. Any violation of this will incur a cost a 100 US dollar per page. Authors must submit final manuscript as an electronic copy in doc (preferred) or pdf format. Information should also be provided such as the author's and co-author's (if any) name, address, email address, telephone and fax numbers, the title of the paper, categorization of the papers (full paper, short paper, or poster).
